Dentist

Dr. Hakan Ocak graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Ondokuz Mayıs University in 2006. After graduation, he began his doctoral work in Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery at Erciyes University. During his academic journey, in 2009 he gained experience as an observer for six months at the Dental School of the University of Maryland in the United States. In 2012, Dr. Ocak completed his doctoral thesis entitled “Contraction Osteogenesis in the Jaws,” supported by TÜBİTAK, thereby earning his specialization certificate. He was appointed as Assistant Professor at Erciyes University in 2013, and served in the Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery until 2015. After leaving academia, he founded his own practice, Dr. Hakan Ocak Clinic, where he continued his professional work.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ocak has published many articles in national and international peer reviewed journals and has earned various awards for his contributions to the field. Clinically, he focuses especially on jaw and facial surgery, advanced implant surgery, and related treatments. He also teaches through various courses and serves as a consulting physician. In 2019, he received an award at the 91st Annual Meeting of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in Canada for his work. He also won the Best Jaw Surgery Award at the Millionaire Concept Health Awards held in Azerbaijan. Since 2007, Dr. Ocak has been an active member of the Turkish Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the International Team for Implantology (ITI), and the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He places great importance on his professional development, continuously enhancing his knowledge and skills through participation in numerous workshops and conferences.
